Software studio · Aichi, Japan
Software carved with the patience of the Kiso Valley.
Kiso Studios builds small, deliberate tools — named for the river that runs along the Aichi–Gifu border, right where we work.
We’d rather ship one tool that does its job cleanly than ten that half-do everything. Every product carries the same discipline: narrow scope, no clutter, built to still make sense a year from now.

Why Kiso
Named for a river, not a buzzword.
The Kiso River runs right along the border between Aichi and Gifu, close enough to reach on a weekend drive from where the studio is based. It’s not a river most people outside Japan have heard of — which is exactly why it fit a studio more interested in doing careful work than being loud about it.
